You can call me a 'pixel pusher', I won't be offended. But really, my expertise lies in strategically using the visual language to tell stories. Going beyond pure aesthetics and details.

With my Bachelor's degree in Business & Marketing, hands-on studio experience, and a love for all things 'odd,' I bring a unique perspective to my design work.

My journey

1997

Born in Bremen, Germany.

2000

When mini-me wasn’t playing in the mud, she was hunched over a piece of paper with a crayon in hand. My first birthday I remember, I celebrated in an art workshop. Foreshadowing perhaps?

2015

A-levels in the bag and some odd jobs like assembling cars for Mercedes and stocking shelves in my local supermarket behind me, I started a dual degree in International Management / Business. I gained a lot: a proper introduction to branding, deeper insights into the corporate world, and real-life experience in my chosen field of marketing. Oh and also the opportunity to continue my studies abroad…

2018

Moved to Hatfield but not for long. The internship semester came along quickly and I made my way to the capital to sell keto-friendly snack bars in the marketing and sales department at ADONIS.

2020

Finished my degree back in Hatfield, in the midst of the pandemic.

2021

Started freelancing as a social media manager in London to learn more about modern marketing techniques, client communications, and running a business.

2021

Had a “duh” moment after not seeing the forest for the trees. The things I’ve always enjoyed most and excelled at have always been the building blocks of great designers: instinctively recognising patterns, visually organising information, dissecting literature [or anything for that matter] to reveal the deeper meaning, etc… To nurture my natural inclination and gain technical skills, I went on a journey of self-education, all while taking on my first branding clients.

2022

Turned my now design-focused freelancing business into ‘Bitemark’, a brand building studio serving clients that want to own their industry with a differentiated brand presence that’s reflective of their mission.

NOW

Looking to join a creative team where I can make an impact in a collaborative environment. I’m longing for connection, consistency, and personal development in an industry that, up until now, I've been steering solo.
